Job summary

KUKU is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with business leaders and employees, driving people initiatives aligned with business goals. The role is hands-on, business-oriented, and suited for a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will partner with leaders on people-related matters, drive performance management, engagement, and culture-building initiatives, and provide data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in HRBP / People Partner roles.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, engagement, and HR processes.
• Experience working with business leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and managers on people‑related matters and employee lifecycle management.
• Address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues as a trusted HR partner.
• Drive performance management, goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans.
• Work on employee engagement, retention, and culture‑building initiatives.
• Provide data‑driven insights and solutions to business leaders.
• Support workforce planning, organisation structure, and talent management.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring plans and manpower requirements.
• Drive onboarding, internal movements, promotions, and exits.
• Ensure smooth implementation of HR policies and processes.
• Collaborate with leadership on employee relations and people strategy.
• Analyse key HR metrics such as attrition, headcount, engagement, and performance.
• Handle Production floor, Showrunners, engineering, editorial, audio, leadership employees and processes.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and managers on people-related matters and employee lifecycle management.
• Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
• Drive performance management, goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in HRBP / People Partner roles.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, engagement, and HR processes.
• Experience working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in a B2C, consumer-tech, OTT, startup, or high-growth organisation would be preferred.
