Job summary

MALABAR GOLD & DIAMONDS is seeking an IT support professional to provide frontline helpdesk across desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. The role includes admin of Windows/Linux/Mac servers, IAM management with AD/Azure Entra, and cloud resource deployment (Azure/AWS).

The candidate will perform routine maintenance, backups, patching, and troubleshooting of hardware, OS, and enterprise applications, while coordinating with security teams on threats and ITSM ticket resolution.

• First-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Active Directory/Azure Entra IAM management and access control tasks.
• OS, application, and user access troubleshooting.
• Scheduled maintenance, patch management, and backups/restores.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Administer Windows/Linux/Mac servers and client machines; manage IAM and access controls.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, updates, patch management, and backup/DR operations.
• Handle hardware, OS, and enterprise application installations and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with security teams on threat response and monitor IT logs and alerts.

Role & responsibilities

• User Support & Helpdesk
  Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  Troubleshoot basic issues related to OS, applications, and user access.
• Infrastructure management both Cloud and Onprem
  Administer and maintain Windows/Linux/Mac servers and client Machines
  Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls through Active Directory, Azure Entra, and related IAM tools.
  Deploy, configure, and manage cloud resources (Azure/AWS)
• System Maintenance & Operations
  Perform scheduled maintenance, updates, and patch management.
  Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
  Handle configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of hardware, OS, and enterprise applications.
• Security & Compliance
  Monitor logs, alerts, and security events; coordinate with security teams on threat response.
• IT Service Management (ITSM)
  Respond to and resolve L1/L2 support tickets according to SLA timelines.
