Job summary

Artesian Software Technologies is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support end-users and maintain IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot servers, desktops, and network issues while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires Windows focus with basic Linux, strong AD/M365 experience, and proficiency in remote tools like NinjaOne and Zoho Assist. Independent work and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers, desktops, laptops, and user systems.
• Provide remote and onsite end-user IT support.
• Manage endpoints using NinjaOne/RMM tools and provide remote support using Zoho Assist or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, printers, scanners, and other applications/peripherals.
• Manage Active Directory, users, groups, permissions, Group Policy, and user onboarding/offboarding.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform system patching, updates, monitoring, backup checks, and security maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system performance issues.
• Manage IT assets and maintain system/infrastructure documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and technical support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 1-5 years of experience in System Administration / IT Infrastructure / Technical Support.
• Strong Windows and basic Linux/Ubuntu administration.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/Wi-Fi.
• Experience with NinjaOne, Zoho Assist, or similar RMM/remote support tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously.

Preferred

• Experience with PowerShell/Bash scripting, virtualization, backup solutions, firewalls, and endpoint security.
• Microsoft/CompTIA certifications are a plus.
