Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Senior Vice President – Product Engineering to lead the Product Engineering business in Bengaluru. The role oversees P&L, drives growth, engineering excellence, and strategic partnerships with global customers.

You will manage large engineering teams across hardware, embedded software, firmware, and system design, shape technology roadmaps, and build a high-performance, customer-focused organization in a fast-growing tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Master's degree in Engineering or MBA is preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Semiconductor industries.
• At least 10 years of experience leading large engineering organizations.

Job description

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Vice President – Product Engineering to lead our Product Engineering business. This executive leadership role will be responsible for driving business growth, engineering excellence, customer success, innovation, and strategic partnerships while managing large engineering organizations and owning the overall P&L for the business unit.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of technology leadership, business acumen, customer engagement, and operational excellence with extensive experience in Product Engineering Services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership

• Own and drive the Product Engineering Services (PES) business with complete P&L responsibility.
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability goals.
• Build strategic relationships with global customers and technology partners.
• Lead annual business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and investment planning.
• Identify new business opportunities across Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, AI, Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Medical, and Industrial sectors.

Engineering Leadership

• Lead large cross-functional engineering teams across Hardware, Embedded Software, Firmware, BSP, Device Drivers, FPGA, Validation, Mechanical Design, PCB Design, Verification, and System Engineering.
• Drive engineering excellence, delivery quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish engineering best practices, governance, quality processes, and execution frameworks.
• Mentor engineering leaders and build a high-performance engineering culture.
• Build trusted relationships with CXOs and engineering leadership teams of global customers.
• Drive strategic customer discussions, solution positioning, and long-term account growth.
• Lead executive-level customer reviews and business planning.
• Ensure successful execution of customer programs with high-quality delivery
• Partner with Sales teams for customer acquisition and account expansion.
• Lead solutioning, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, technical proposals, and commercial discussions.
• Support strategic pursuits and large deal closures.
• Develop differentiated service offerings and technology solutions.

Technology & Innovation

• Define technology roadmap aligned with market trends.
• Drive development of reusable IPs, platforms, accelerators, and solution frameworks.
• Build competency in emerging technologies including AI/ML, Edge AI, Robotics, ADAS, Automotive Electronics, Aerospace Electronics, IoT, High-Performance Computing, and next-generation Semiconductor technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Build, mentor, and retain senior engineering leadership.
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational capability building.

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of complete product development lifecycle from concept through production.
• Experience leading global delivery teams and customer engagements
