Job summary

Protiviti India is seeking an experienced L2 Application Support professional to manage incident resolution and production stability in a BFSI-focused environment.

You will leverage SQL and database troubleshooting, log and API analysis, and monitoring tools, with strong communication for stakeholder coordination.

Based in Mumbai, the role requires deep knowledge of client-server architectures, deployment support, and risk-aware problem solving.

Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in application/production support.
• BFSI domain experience is mandatory, preferably exposure to banking, capital markets, securities, financial applications, or related environments.
• Strong experience in L2 application support and incident management.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Experience in log analysis, API troubleshooting, application monitoring, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Exposure to ServiceNow/Ivanti, Jira, Control-M, Postman, Tomcat, or monitoring tools will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Good understanding of client-server architecture, change management, and deployment support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
