Job summary

Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients, seeks a Supply Planner for the Planning team in Mumbai. You will issue detailed production schedules using SAP PPDS, manage master data, and coordinate with manufacturing and customer service to balance service levels and inventories.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, 3–4 years in operations or supply chain, SAP/APO/MRP experience, APICS Module I training, and Six Sigma

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).
• Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
• Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order and quality issues as they develop.
• Primary point of contact with customer service team; monitor process orders and ensure accurate data integrity.
• Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
• Work with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with capabilities.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling and ATP process.
• Maintain and monitor KPIs for assets such as inventory, capacity loading, and production to plan.
• Analyze demand during lead time, identify abnormal patterns and verify causes with sales/marketing.
• Determine SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse.
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply.

Responsible to assure scheduling maintaining master data updated, support organization to balance desired level of customer service, making best use of resources and keep inventories at desired level.

• Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).

• Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling & ATP process
• Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (i.e. slow-moving & obsolete inventory, capacity loading, production to plan, inventory, delivery to promise, etc.
• Analyze demand during lead time (daily), identify abnormal demand patterns and verify causes with our sales/marketing team and demand.
• Determine the SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while maintaining cost effective levels of inventory
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans and sales history.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply
