Job summary

Roquette in Mumbai, a global plant-based ingredients company, is seeking a Supply Planner to join the Planning team. You will schedule production, maintain master data in SAP PPDS, and coordinate with manufacturing and customer service to balance service levels and inventories.

The role requires 3–4 years in supply chain, a degree in Engineering or related field, and SAP/APO/MRP exposure, plus APICS Module I and Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
• 3-4 years experience in operations or supply chain roles.
• SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise.
• APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training.
• Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

• Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).
• Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
• Highlight and actively participate in identification and resolution of inventory, customer order and quality issues as they develop.
• Primary point of contact with customer service team
• Monitoring process orders & ensuring closure as needed, accurate process orders are used to maintain system & data integrity
• Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
• Work with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling & ATP process
• Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (inventory, capacity, etc).
• Analyze demand during lead time, identify abnormal patterns and verify causes with sales/marketing.
• Determine SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse.
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply

Their mission? Responsible to assure scheduling maintaining master data updated, support organization to balance desired level of customer service, making best use of resources and keep inventories at desired level.

• Determine the SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while maintaining cost effective levels of inventory
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans and sales history.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply
