Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6–8+ years of relevant maintenance/plant experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating systems.
• Ability to read system schematics and troubleshoot advanced issues.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating with suppliers.

The manufacturing function ensures that right products with right quality are delivered on time as per plan and within the defined resources. The major challenge is to achieve machine run targets with a focus on safety.

Their mission:

• Monitor closely all equipment installed in various starch sections or equivalent processes, Group Gathering Stations, Compressor stations/dryers/pumps/silos, etc.
• Apart from routine day-to-day maintenance, maintain records/history sheets of all the equipment and analyze them.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and contractors.
• Analyze and evaluate engineering and design changes, process enhancements, and modifications to advise on the engineering impact of these changes, determine operability, and ensure appropriate maintenance procedures can be applied.
• Ensure that all spare parts and tools needed for planned and emergency maintenance are ordered through purchase requisition.
• Identify potential hazards and participate in Job safety analysis for all high-risk activities related to regular maintenance, planned shutdown, and emergency maintenance.
• Preparation of BOM documents for all maintenance/AMC jobs and services and technical evaluation of vendors as per the company's policy and procedures.
• Preparation of maintenance budget and timely submission for approval.
• Actively support and participate in all pigging activities.
• Track the timely receipt of spares and ensure timely preparation of GRN and service entries to release timely payments of vendors and contractors.
• Develop Standard Operation & Maintenance Procedures in Integration with Safety, Health & Environment Management Systems for effective management and achieving Operational Excellence.
• Solid knowledge about machines/equipment, pipelines in process plants, especially about pumps/agitator/turbine, etc.
• Good understanding of the maintenance management system in international process plants.
• Basic English in both oral and speaking is required.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
• Ability to read system schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
• Good communication and training skills.
• Ability to work with heavy equipment.
• Demonstrate active participation in driving and developing strategies for the continuous improvement of validation and qualification activities.
• Lead the harmonization of the manufacturing equipment, systems, facilities & utilities qualification program and provide independent QA oversight for these activities.
• Effectively collaborate with all levels of internal customers within Quality, Safety, Production, QC, Supply Chain, MS&T, and CFTs for Quality assurance, Equipment Qualification Validation, Facilities QA compliance, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Attend breakdowns & root cause analysis & updating of history card of all types of breakdown activities.
• Maximize equipment availability by carrying out timely preventive maintenance.
• Assist stores and purchase to optimize spare parts inventory by identifying spares and deciding inventory levels.

Academic requirement: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 6 to 8+ years in similar role
