Job summary

Roquette, a family-owned global leader in plant-based ingredients and a provider of pharmaceutical excipients, seeks a Supply Planner in Mumbai. The role sits in the Planning team and focuses on scheduling, master data upkeep and supply optimization.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and sales to balance service levels with inventory and cost, using SAP PPDS and related tools. This position emphasizes data integrity and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• APICS Module I training or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• 3-4 years of operations or supply chain experience desired.
• SAP/APO and MRP training relevant to planning roles.

Responsibilities

• Issue detailed production schedules using SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details aligned with cost, rate, inventory and uptime targets.
• Maintain and communicate schedules across the supply chain.
• Identify and resolve inventory, order and quality issues as they arise.
• Serve as primary contact with customer service teams.
• Monitor process orders and ensure data integrity.
• Act as the interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize plant schedules.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling and ATP processes.
• Monitor KPIs for assets like inventory, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Analyze demand during lead time and verify causes with sales/marketing.
• Determine SKU inventory levels, locations and safety stocks per customer/warehouse.
• Pull FINI material requirements into regional demand plans.
• Manage supply issues during periods of short supply.

Supply Planner

To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Supply Planner within the Planning team! This position will be located in Mumbai.

Their mission?

Responsible to assure scheduling maintaining master data updated, support organization to balance desired level of customer service, making best use of resources and keep inventories at desired level.

Your Experience And Talents Will Make The Difference To

• Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).
• Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
• Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order and quality issues as they develop.
• Primary point of contact with customer service team
• Monitoring process orders & assuring closed as needed, accurate process orders are used to maintain system & data integrity
• Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
• Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling & ATP process
• Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (i.e. slow-moving & obsolete inventory, capacity loading, production to plan, inventory, delivery to promise, etc.
• Analyze demand during lead time (daily), identify abnormal demand patterns and verify causes with our sales/marketing team and demand.
• Determine the SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while maintaining cost effective levels of inventory
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans and sales history.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply
