Reports To: Supply Chain Manager / Head - SCM
1. Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate, and control the end-to-end supply chain activities, including material planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, production coordination, logistics, and timely delivery of materials and finished goods to ensure smooth business operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
Material Planning & Procurement Coordination
- Plan and monitor material requirements based on production plans and customer orders.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other required items.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor shortages and take necessary actions to avoid production interruptions.
Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Stores for accurate stock availability and inventory records.
- Support periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
Production & PPC Coordination
- Coordinate with Production and PPC departments to ensure material availability as per the production schedule.
- Monitor production plans and highlight potential material shortages or supply risks.
- Support production planning to ensure timely order completion.
Order Management & Customer Coordination
- Monitor customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate internally to ensure orders are dispatched as per committed timelines.
- Communicate order status and delivery updates to the Sales team and customers, wherever required.
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate with the Dispatch and Logistics team for timely shipment of finished goods.
- Ensure proper planning of transportation to optimize delivery time and logistics costs.
- Monitor dispatch status and delivery performance.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly SCM reports.
- Monitor key supply chain parameters such as inventory levels, material shortages, supplier delivery performance, and order fulfillment.
- Provide accurate data and reports to management for decision-making.

- Reduction in excess and non-moving inventory

4. Required Qualifications
Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement Coordination, Inventory Management, or Logistics.

6. Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in manufacturing, plastics injection molding, automotive, engineering, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
