Import Shipment Management
- Coordinate and monitor import shipments from origin through customs clearance and final delivery.
- Review and process import documentation including commercial invoices, packing
lists, bills of lading, insurance documents, and related shipping paperwork.
- Share shipping documents with Customs House Agents (CHA) for clearance activities.
- Track shipment status, vessel schedules, ETAs, and update logistics tracking tools
and reports.
- Prepare shipping-line bonds, KYC documents, customer authorization letters, and
other statutory documents.
- Support insurance documentation and claims processes when required
Customs Clearance & Compliance
- Coordinate with CHA for timely customs clearance and port operations.
- Ensure submission of statutory forms and compliance-related documentation.
- Manage duty payment requests and liaise with Finance for customs duty settlements.
- Monitor compliance with import regulations and company logistics policies.
Warehouse & Order Management
- Manage warehouse import orders and direct-port delivery orders.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound material receipt and stock visibility.
- Support stock verification and periodic warehouse audits.
- Maintain shipment and logistics documentation repository.
- Serve as backup support for warehouse dispatch operations when required.
- Transportation & Delivery Coordination
- Plan and coordinate daily shipment deliveries from ports and warehouses.
- Liaise with transporters for vehicle planning and shipment execution.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor unloading status and ensure timely completion of deliveries.
- Track container returns and coordinate empty container deposits within free period
timelines.
