Job summary

FU Pao India in Mumbai is seeking a Logistics Import Coordinator to manage import shipments from suppliers to final delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA/customs agents, and transporters to ensure timely clearance and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of import operations, strong coordination skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. You will handle documentation, track shipments, and resolve delays to maintain smooth supply chain flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage import shipments from supplier to final delivery.

• Arrange vehicles and coordinate loading/unloading and transportation.
• Follow up with drivers and transporters for timely delivery.
• Collect and maintain PODs and transport documents.
• Verify freight and transporter bills.
• Handle delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics issues.
• Prepare import/transport MIS and maintain proper records.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
