Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of crown-capping machine experience in beverage/FMCG.
• Knowledge of OEM maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance planning.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance logs.
• Familiarity with 5S and OSHA/HSE safety standards and waste reduction practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and safely operate the crown‑capping machine and auxiliary equipment to achieve production targets.
• Execute routine, preventative, and autonomous maintenance per OEM manuals and schedule.
• Perform in‑line quality inspections on crowned bottles to ensure seal integrity and compliance.
• Monitor and reduce material rejection rates, including crown waste and damaged caps.
• Record shift output, downtime, and rejection data accurately in production logbooks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and alignment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean work area and enforce 5S and safety protocols at the operating station.
