Job summary

Chemin Enviro Systems is seeking an experienced QA/QC Leader to oversee all QA/QC activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and process equipment from project start to dispatch. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of welding, NDE, and ASME code compliance, plus proven leadership to coordinate clients, TPI, production, and design teams.

The ideal candidate will review ITPs, QAPs, inspection and NDE reports, manage NCR/CAPA processes, and drive continuous quality improvement while

Qualifications

• QA/QC leadership experience on pressure vessels, heat exchangers or process equipment.
• Knowledge of ASME codes for fabrication and inspection.
• Strong welding, WPS/PQR/WPQ and NDE knowledge.
• Experience coordinating with clients and third-party inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities from project start to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII and IX.
• Review ITPs, QAPs, inspection and NDE reports, and quality docs.
• Coordinate audits with internal teams, clients, TPI, and suppliers.
• Monitor team performance and allocate manpower.
• Provide regular quality status reports to management.
• Handle NCRs and CAPAs and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure timely inspections and effective issue closure.
• Provide technical guidance to the QA/QC team.
• Lead QA/QC team meetings and audits planning.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers & Process Equipment from project start to dispatch.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of WPS, PQR, WPQ, Welding & NDE.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII, Section IX and applicable codes/standards.
• Coordinate with Clients, TPI, Production, Design, Project and Sub-vendors for smooth project execution.
• Review and control ITP, QAP, inspection reports, NDE reports and final quality documentation.
• Handle NCR, CAPA, customer complaints and quality improvement activities.
• Lead QA/QC team, allocate manpower and monitor team performance.
• Plan and coordinate internal, customer, TPI and certification audits.
• Ensure quality targets, timely inspections and effective closure of quality issues.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership and regular quality status reports to management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Strong experience in QA/QC for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Process Equipment.
• Proven experience in ASME code-based fabrication and inspection.
• Strong knowledge of Welding, WPS/PQR/WPQ and NDE.
• Experience in Client/TPI coordination and team management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
