Unilift Cargo Systems at BALCO Plant, Korba, Chhattisgarh is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily vehicle operations, ensure timely deployment, and maintain smooth shift execution in an industrial environment.

The ideal candidate will have fleet operations experience, vehicle inspections, breakdown coordination, and strong team coordination, with emphasis on safety and accurate reporting to the Shift Incharge.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in mechanical or automobile engineering.
• Experience in industrial fleet operations preferred.
• Strong reporting and safety compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at shift start and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure timely deployment of vehicles per shift roster.
• Record shift targets and updates in the shift logbook.
• Verify pre-operational inspection checklists before deployment.
• Record defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance of ATVs and vehicles.
• Coordinate and monitor vehicle breakdowns until standby vehicles are deployed.
• Audit operational areas to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Shift Incharge.
• Verify operator reports and submit final updates to the Shift Incharge.
• Monitor tyre condition and maintain records.
• Ensure vehicle availability for next shift per roster.
• Maintain operational records and adhere to safety standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Operations Supervisor to oversee daily vehicle operations, ensure timely deployment, monitor operational activities, and maintain smooth shift execution. The ideal candidate should have experience in fleet operations, vehicle inspections, breakdown coordination, and team coordination within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the beginning of every shift and maintain inspection records in the logbook.
• Ensure timely deployment of vehicles as per the approved shift roster.
• Record shift targets and operational updates in the shift logbook.
• Verify and monitor vehicle pre-operational inspection checklists before deployment.
• Record vehicle observations and report any defects or abnormalities for corrective action.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance of ATVs and operational vehicles.
• Coordinate and monitor operational vehicle breakdowns until standby vehicles are deployed.
• Conduct operational area audits of Potline, Rodding, AGM, and ALH to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate daily operational activities with the Shift Incharge.
• Verify operator reports and submit final operational updates to the Shift Incharge.
• Monitor tyre condition and maintain tyre status records.
• Ensure vehicle availability and deployment readiness for the next shift as per the approved roster.
• Maintain operational records and ensure adherence to safety procedures and company standards.
