Job summary

Siemens in Chhattisgarh seeks an Engineer- Electrical– Customer Services to support maintenance of caster and tunnel furnace lines. You will apply expertise in electrical power & control systems and work with Siemens drives (S120, G120) and ABB VFDs (ACS 580, 800, 850) to troubleshoot and prevent downtime.

The role involves planning day-to-day maintenance, coordinating materials and manpower, preparing progress logs, and ensuring safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance activities in caster and tunnel furnace.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power and control systems.
• Hands-on with Siemens drives and ABB VFDs.
• Troubleshooting electrical systems including HT/LT and HVAC.
• Ability to prepare reports, PPTs and maintain logs.

• Should have experience in executing maintenance activities in Caster, Tunnel Furnace.
• Good knowledge of Electrical Power & Control system.
• Hands on experience of Siemens make drives viz. S120, G120 & ABB VFD like ACS 580, 800, 850
• Good in trouble shooting and break down analysis skills in electrical systems of HT & LT systems, HVAC system.
• Offer technical expertise to maintenance people like supervisor, foreman, fitters and technicians.
• Expertise in organizing, planning & coordination of day-to-day maintenance activities & Handling shift activities.
• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.
• Plan routine maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
• Schedule and obtain project material and manpower.
• Check work-in-progress and during completion to meet specifications.
• Documentation and preparation of daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Responsible for spare management for machines to reduce breakdown time
• Complete know how of Safety systems & should be familiar with safety procedures while executing electrical work
• Good in Coordination and Communication, keeping good relationship with Team members and Client
• Should be familiar with Report preparation, PPT & Excel.

Qualification Requirements

• You should have minimum 5 years' experience preferably in Caster, Tunnel Furnace, with bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronic engineering or Diploma in electrical with 6-8 years of experience.
• Experience in maintenance & handling shift activities of electrical systems of Caster, Tunnel Furnace, Rolling mill
• Shall be able to join within One month from the date of Offer.
• Shall have the Supervisory license for HT/LT systems.
• Person have hands on experience on ABB drives most preferred.
