Job summary

Sid’s Farm is seeking a driven Zonal Head – Last Mile Operations to oversee day-to-day delivery operations across multiple dark stores within a designated zone in Mumbai. You will ensure operational excellence, manage the workforce, meet SLAs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years of Last Mile Ops or related experience, strong leadership, analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Graduate with any discipline; additional supply chain/ops qualification preferred.
• Experience leading last mile/field operations teams and driving SLAs.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid dashboard/reporting experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, across multiple sites.
• Willingness to work early-morning shifts as per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple dark stores within the assigned zone.
• Ensure smooth execution of daily last-mile deliveries while maintaining SLAs.
• Lead and supervise Last Mile Executives to drive discipline and compliance.
• Monitor workforce planning, attendance, deployment, and manpower availability.
• Track route execution, delivery performance, and KPIs through dashboards.
• Coordinate with Mid Mile, Warehouse, HR, and other support functions.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive root-cause analysis for timely fixes.
• Drive productivity, route efficiency, and customer satisfaction improvements.
• Monitor inventory movement and readiness across stores.
• Ensure SOPs, safety standards, and guidelines are followed.
• Review reports and present actionable leadership insights.
• Mentor the field operations team and support delivery-partner onboarding.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly driven Zonal Head – Last Mile Operations to oversee the day-to-day execution of last-mile delivery operations across multiple dark stores within an assigned zone. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, workforce management, service level adherence, and coordination across cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of multiple dark stores within the assigned zone.
• Ensure smooth execution of daily last-mile delivery operations while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead and supervise Last Mile Executives (LMEs) to drive operational discipline and process compliance.
• Monitor workforce planning, attendance, deployment, and manpower availability across all assigned locations.
• Track route execution, delivery performance, and operational KPIs through internal systems and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Mid Mile, Warehouse, Customer Experience, HR, and other support functions for smooth daily operations.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution through effective root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in productivity, route efficiency, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory movement, stock availability, and operational readiness across assigned dark stores.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
• Review operational reports, analyze performance trends, and present actionable insights to leadership.
• Coach, mentor, and develop the field operations team through regular reviews and performance feedback.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and capability development of delivery partners.
• Ensure timely closure of operational issues and maintain high standards of execution across the zone.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; qualification in Supply Chain or Operations is an added advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in Last Mile Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, FMCG, Quick Commerce, or E-commerce.
• Experience in managing multiple operational sites and field teams.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills.
• Good analytical skills with experience using operational dashboards and reports.
• Ability to work in early morning operational shifts as per business requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational management tools is preferred.
