Job summary

Ambitio in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Junior Admission Expert to guide students through the study abroad journey. You will be the first point of contact for applicants, research programs, assess deadlines and scholarships, and help draft resumes and SOPs with senior editors.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. You will work with IIT BHU alumni mentors and industry experts, coordinating counseling sessions and ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field.
• 0–3 years experience; freshers encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to navigate university websites to extract deadlines, fees, requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for students and answer basic queries about study abroad processes and Ambitio’s services.
• Research university programs, entry requirements, deadlines, and scholarship opportunities tailored to student profiles.
• Assist students in drafting resumes, statements of purpose, and other application documents under senior editors’ guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and application statuses in internal tracking systems.
• Coordinate between students and senior mentors to schedule counseling sessions and meet deadlines.
• Participate in training to learn global education trends, visa processes, and admission criteria for top universities.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Support: Act as the first point of contact for students, answering basic queries about the study abroad process and Ambitio’s services.
• University Research: Assist the team in researching university programs, entry requirements, deadlines, and scholarship opportunities tailored to student profiles.
• Documentation Assistance: Help students create initial drafts of their Resumes, Statements of Purpose (SOPs), and other application documents under the guidance of senior editors.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student progress and application statuses in our internal tracking systems.
• Coordination: Coordinate between students and senior mentors to schedule counseling sessions and ensure deadlines are met.
• Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training sessions to learn about global education trends, visa processes, and admission criteria for top universities.

Requirements

• Education: Recent graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field). Background in Literature, Psychology, Communications, or Education is a plus.
• Experience: 0–3 years. Freshers are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Communication: Exceptional command of written and spoken English. Comfortable writing professional emails and speaking with students.
• Research Skills: Ability to navigate university websites and extract relevant information (deadlines, fees, requirements).
• Attitude: Eager to learn, empathetic towards students’ career goals, and highly organized.
