Job summary

GyanDhan is India’s leading education financing and study abroad marketplace. We are hiring a Student Success Advisor to counsel students on overseas study options, guide them through admissions, and convert qualified leads into enrolments.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in study abroad counselling or related sales, with strong communication and CRM skills. You will work with targets and collaborate with partner consultants to ensure smooth admissions journeys and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of study abroad counselling or related education sales experience.
• Knowledge of UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland and Europe destinations.
• Strong communication, counselling, sales, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable with targets, CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets and messaging/calling platforms.
• Ability to build trust with students and manage end-to-end follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities based on profile, destinations, budget and goals.
• Guide admissions journey: eligibility, shortlisting, documentation, SOP/LOR, offers, loans, visa basics.
• Convert qualified leads into admissions customers through consultative counselling and sales.
• Pitch paid admissions/service packages, handle objections, drive enrolments.
• Match students with consultant partners and ensure smooth handover and follow-up.
• Maintain CRM records, counselling notes, follow-up schedules and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities based on their academic profile, preferred destination, course, budget, and career goals.
• Guide students through the admissions journey, including eligibility, university shortlisting, documentation, SOP/LOR, offer letters, education loans, and visa basics.
• Convert qualified leads into admissions customers through consultative counselling and sales.
• Pitch paid admissions/service packages, handle objections, and drive student enrolments.
• Match students with suitable consultant partners and ensure a smooth handover and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, counselling notes, follow-up schedules, and conversion updates.
• Achieve targets related to counselling, applications, payments, and student conversions.

Required Skills:

• 1–3 years of experience in study abroad counselling, overseas admissions, education sales, or student counselling.
• Knowledge of major study destinations such as the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, and Europe.
• Strong communication, counselling, sales, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable working with targets, CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp, email, and calling platforms.
• Ability to build trust with students and manage end-to-end follow-ups.
