About the Role
We are looking for a driven and empathetic Academic Counsellor to join our team and guide prospective students and working professionals in choosing the right academic programs for their career goals.
The ideal candidate should be confident in communication, comfortable with sales targets, proactive in follow-ups, and genuinely interested in helping learners make informed decisions about their education and career.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and working professionals on suitable academic programs based on their educational background, career goals, and professional aspirations.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp inquiries, emails, and other communication channels to engage with prospective learners.
- Understand customers requirements and provide clear and accurate information regarding programs, eligibility, admission procedures, duration, fees, and career opportunities.
- Follow up consistently with prospective students and convert qualified leads into successful admissions.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and provide end-to-end support throughout the counselling and admission journey.
- Achieve individual and team admission/sales targets within defined timelines.
- Maintain timely and effective follow-ups to maximize lead conversion and minimize lead drop-offs.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling interactions, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM or internal systems.
- Coordinate with admissions, academic, operations, and other internal teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
- Stay updated on the organizations programs, admission policies, industry trends, and relevant competitor offerings.
- Address student questions and concerns professionally and provide a positive counselling experience.
- Participate in webinars, seminars, campaigns, events, and other student engagement initiatives as required.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on lead status, follow-ups, conversions, and target achievement.
- Maintain professional communication and represent the organization positively while interacting with students and other stakeholders.

- Prior experience in education counselling, admissions, inside sales, edtech, or related sectors will be an advantage.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in sales.
Shift Timings - 1 pm to 10 pm (UK) & 8 pm to 5 am (US)
Working Days- Monday to Friday
