Job summary

AdmitX in Gurugram is seeking a Study Abroad Counsellor (UK) to guide students through their study abroad journey, helping them shortlist courses and universities and ensure a seamless admission and enrollment process.

You will manage a portfolio of students, provide expert guidance on GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL, serve as their single point of contact, track applications, assist with deposits and visa deadlines, and drive sales targets with a student-centric approach.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in overseas education consulting.
• Strong sales and relationship-building with a student-centric mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, psychology or related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Student Journey: manage onboarding, counselling, follow-ups, and overall success.
• Expert Guidance: understand universities, programs, admissions, and eligibility (GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL).
• Single Point of Contact: build rapport as dedicated advisor for admission guidance.
• Application Tracking: assist with university applications and monitor progress.
• Enrollment Support: help with deposits, visa applications, and deadlines.
• Sales Execution: achieve targets for applications, admissions and acceptances.

As a Study Abroad Counsellor (UK), you will guide and support students through their study abroad journey. You will play a key role in helping them shortlist the right-fit courses and universities and ensuring a seamless admission and enrollment process.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Student Journey: Manage a portfolio of students, including onboarding, detailed counselling, regular follow-ups, and ensuring their overall success.
• Expert Guidance: Build a deep understanding of universities, programs, admissions processes, and eligibility requirements, including exams like GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL.
• Single Point of Contact: Build a strong rapport with students as their dedicated advisor for all admission-related guidance.
• Application Tracking: Support students with their university applications, regularly tracking their progress and resolving queries.
• Enrollment Support: Facilitate smooth enrollment in the chosen course, assisting with deposits and visa applications within deadlines.
• Sales Execution: Achieve targets for applications, admissions and acceptances in line with company targets.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in overseas education consulting.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a student-centric mindset.
• Strong knowledge of destination countries, education systems, application processes and university requirements.
• Completed Bachelor's degree in business, management, psychology or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Strong multitasking and capability of working under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
