Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Fabrication Project Engineer to manage and execute site activities related to civil construction and steel fabrication works. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, coordination with vendors and contractors, and ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Civil Works Execution
- Supervise and monitor site activities including:
- Foundation works
- RCC works
- Steel fabrication activities
- Anchor bolt fixing and alignment
- Carry out layout marking, level checking, and site measurements
- Ensure execution quality as per approved drawings and project specifications
- Coordinate with site teams to maintain smooth workflow and progress
Fabrication & Structural Work
- Supervise steel fabrication, welding, fitting, and structural assembly activities
- Interpret and execute work based on:
- GA (General Arrangement) drawings
- Shop drawings
- Monitor erection and alignment of structural members such as:
- H-beams
- Columns
- Trusses
- Structural platforms
- Ensure compliance with fabrication quality and safety standards
Project Management
- Prepare and monitor project schedules and execution plans
- Manage manpower deployment, materials, and site resources efficiently
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and site documentation
- Track project progress and ensure timely completion within deadlines
Site Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors
- Attend site meetings, inspections, and approval processes
- Resolve site execution issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and project compliance requirements
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and steel fabrication works
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for basic onsite drafting and design modifications
- Understanding of fabrication processes, welding standards, and structural erection
- Good project coordination and site management skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in industrial, fabrication, or infrastructure projects preferred
