Responsible for the execution and supervision of structural steel erection and related site activities following project drawings, safety norms, quality standards, and scheduled timelines. Coordinates with internal departments and external agencies for smooth execution and problem resolution.
Execute and monitor structural steel fabrication and erection works as per design drawings and standards. Ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications and quality standards Coordinate with structural steel vendors/fabricators for timely delivery and compliance. Verify and align erected steel structures as per approved drawings and survey coordinates. Monitor welding, bolting, painting, and NDT activities in coordination with QA/QC teams. Liaise with engineering and planning teams to manage work fronts and progress. Track daily site progress, manpower and resource utilization; report deviations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all structural steel handling and erection. Assist in resolving technical queries and ensure proper documentation of site activities. Support in material reconciliation, work measurements, and billing inputs.
