Job summary

Larsen & Toubro invites a Design Engineer Structure – EDRC (PAF) toDrive the design of steel and RCC structures from concept to construction details at the Bhogapuram Site/EDRC HQ.

Applicants should have 7–15 years’ experience in large-scale civil projects, a Civil degree (Masters preferred), and proficiency in ETABS/STAAD/SAFE, along with API discipline coordination and strict adherence to codes and standards for timely, accurate drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree required in civil/structural engineering.
• Masters in structural engineering preferred.
• Experience in design of large-scale civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Design steel and RCC structures from concept to construction drawings.
• Prepare specifications and quantities for the project.

Job Purpose

Responsible for design of Steel/ RCC structure from concept design, detail design and construction details stages as per the scope of the project in compliance with statutory rules and regulations. Preparation of specifications and quantity estimation of the same. Design coordination with other disciplines and resolving inter disciplinary design issues. Ensuring proper, timely and effective delivery of drawings and documents for construction and adhering to relevant codes and standards.

Educational Qualifications

(degree, training, or certification required)

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil or Equivalent) (Mandatory)
• Masters in Structural Engineering (Preferred)

Relevant Experience

(no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required)

7 to 15 years of relevant work experience. In design of Airports/ Shopping malls/ Railway stations/ Large Offices etc.
