Job summary

Projexis Infrastructure seeks a Civil/Structural engineer to prepare RCC building plans, layouts and working drawings for residential and commercial projects. You will perform structural analysis, model with ETABS/SAFE/STAAD.Pro, and ensure compliance with IS codes and regulations.

Responsibilities include detailing, reinforcement design, BBS, site coordination, and generation of quantities. Freshers and experienced candidates with relevant degrees are welcome at Projexis.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• Experience in RCC building planning and structural design preferred.
• Knowledge of IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 2502 and related standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software such as ETABS/SAFE/STAAD.Pro.
• Knowledge of RCC detailing, reinforcement design, foundation design, and seismic design.
• Ability to prepare professional structural drawings and design reports.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed RCC building plans, structural layouts, and working drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Carry out structural analysis and design of RCC buildings including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, shear walls, and other structural elements.
• Develop structural models and perform analysis using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent software.
• Design structures in accordance with relevant IS Codes and applicable building regulations.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and design calculations.
• Coordinate with architects, site engineers, contractors, and other consultants to resolve design and execution issues.
• Review structural drawings and ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with approved designs.
• Conduct site visits when required and provide technical guidance during construction.
• Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, and material requirements related to structural works.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, calculations, revisions, and project records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• Experience in RCC building planning and structural design will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 2502 and other relevant standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software such as ETABS/SAFE/STAAD.Pro.
