Qualifications

• Develop schematic designs and detailed designs for projects of varying scale.
• Familiar with Indian and international design codes.
• Proficient in structural design software such as ETABS and STAAD.Pro.
• Able to review and supervise CAD outputs and junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical responsibility to meet project time and quality targets.
• Lead departmental standardization and improve calculation tools.
• Provide direction and mentoring to junior staff.
• Coordinate with clients for input data collection and project milestones.
• Validate structural design data and visit sites if required for verification.
• Produce structural design deliverables for detailed design.
• Ensure design deliveries meet client requirements and codes.
• Oversee CAD department, ensuring timely, accurate drawings dispatch.
• Prepare proposals, case studies and preliminary designs for costing.

Post: Structural Engineer

Skills / Experience:

• Develop schematic designs and detailed designs for small to large scale projects.
• Carry out checks on the work carried out by graduate engineers and CAD technicians.
• Design of structures like Building, Bridges etc with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record.
• Familiarity with relevant Indian and International design codes
• Must be fully conversant with structural design softwares such as STADD, ETAB etc.
• Good Communication Skill manage the team - Planning and coordination - Effective quality checking - Excellent Time Management to finish the work scheduled on Time.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical responsibility for projects as appropriate to the organisation of each particular project, to meet project specific time and quality targets.
• Works towards the continuous improvement of the department section by utilizing effective and standardized calculation system and other design tools.
• Provide direction, supervision and mentoring to more junior staff.
• Project co- ordination, planning, interaction with client for collection of input data
• Validation of structural design data based on best engineering practice, if required site visit shall be made to re- verify.
• Responsible to produce Structural design deliverables for the detailed design of project.
• Responsible for the quality of the deliveries.
• Contact point for Structural discussions with other entities
• Review and approve structural designs developed by outside consultants.
• Supervise and monitor activities of CAD Department, timely and error free generation and dispatch of drawings.
• Preparation of proposals, case study and preliminary design for cost estimation.
• Develop specifications for construction projects.
• Ensure designs meet Clients requirements and compliance with relevant Codes of Practice, Qualifications and Requirements
• Complete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines
