About the Role We are looking for a Strategic Operations Associate to work closely with the Operations Head and play a key role in driving day-to-day operations, expansion initiatives, process implementation, procurement, and new product development. This role offers an opportunity to work across multiple functions and contribute directly to the organization's operations, strategy, expansion, and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Assist the Operations Head in managing and coordinating day-to-day operations. Support planning, execution, and monitoring of operational activities. Ensure smooth coordination across relevant teams and timely completion of assigned initiatives.
- Factory Expansion: Contribute to factory expansion and setup projects. Support planning, coordination, execution, and capability-building activities related to expansion. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines.
- S&OP Implementation: Support the introduction and implementation of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and other relevant functions to improve planning and alignment. Assist in monitoring and improving the effectiveness of the S&OP process.
- Procurement & New Product Development: Work closely with the Procurement and New Product Development (NPD) teams. Support initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency, quality, and innovation. Assist in cross-functional projects related to sourcing, product development, and operational improvement.
- Strategic & Cross-Functional Projects: Support the Operations Head in strategic and business-critical projects. Analyze operational data and provide insights to support decision-making. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive projects from planning through execution. Take ownership of assigned initiatives and ensure timely closure.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.
- 25 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good project management and execution capabilities.
- Understanding of operations, procurement, supply chain, and S&OP.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Exposure to ERP systems and factory expansion projects will be an advantage.
- Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
