Strategic Executive Assistant to Director

Role Overview:
This is a strategic EA position, with approximately 80% focus on strategic/business responsibilities and 20% on secretarial responsibilities. The role will primarily involve supporting the Director on strategic initiatives, business analysis, financial/business matters and key projects, rather than being a conventional calendar-management or administrative EA role.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Executive Assistant to the Director who will work closely with the Director on business, financial and strategic initiatives. The role will involve supporting decision-making, research, analysis, presentations, and coordination across key business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in business and financial analysis, research, and preparation of presentations.
- Support the Director on initiatives related to Financial Advisory, Fundraising, M&A,Valuations, Debt & Equity Transactions and other strategic projects.
- Conduct market, industry and company research and prepare concise insights for discussions and decision-making.
- Prepare meeting briefs, presentations, MIS, dashboards and analytical reports.
- Attend key meetings with the Director, capture important discussions and track action points/follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely closure of assigned tasks.
- Maintain and organize important business information, reports and documents.
- Assist in monitoring key projects, deadlines and deliverables and provide regular updates to the Director.
- Support the Director with day-to-day coordination, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, coordinating travel and handling routine correspondence, as required.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1–3 years of experience in Executive Assistance, Business/Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Financial Services, Strategy or a similar role.
- Graduate / MBA with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong research, presentation and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- High level of ownership, attention to detail and professionalism.
- Should be comfortable working closely with senior management and handling confidential matters.
