Job summary

ACG Cellulose Pvt Ltd. in Dahej, Bharuch, Gujarat, is seeking a Head of Stores & Materials (SCM) to lead end-to-end inventory management for raw materials, packing materials, consumables, spares, and finished goods.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing stores & inventory management.
• Understanding of BOM, MRP, and production planning.
• ERP proficiency (SAP / Oracle / Tally / any manufacturing ERP).

Responsibilities

• Ensure FIFO / FEFO implementation as applicable.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and over-stocking.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, and Purchase teams for material planning.
• Ensure timely availability of RM, PM, spares, and consumables.
• Review min-max levels, reorder points, and safety stock.
• Support production schedules and shutdown planning.
• Ensure proper documentation for inward, outward, and inter-plant transfers.
• Manage dispatch of finished goods in coordination with logistics.
• Maintain proper store records, registers, bin cards, and stock ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with ISO / GMP / FDA / EHS / internal audit requirements.
• Ensure correct labeling, segregation, and traceability of materials.
• Support statutory and customer audits.

We have an opportunity in ACG Cellulose, Dahej, Bharuch, Gujarat of a position of Store & Materials (SCM) Head.

A. Job Objective

The Store & Material Head is responsible for end-to-end management of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, spares, and finished goods stores, ensuring uninterrupted production through effective inventory planning, material control, compliance, and cost optimization.

B. Primary responsibilities

Core Functional
