Job summary

Zepcruit in Maharashtra is seeking a Storekeeper/Inbound Receiving Executive to manage the inbound goods flow, ensure accurate receiving, and maintain hygienic storage areas. Early joining is preferred and experience in food/beverage/perishable goods is a plus.

The role focuses on accurate stock recording, supplier coordination, adherence to food safety standards, and collaboration with QA and production teams to ensure correct material issuance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods
• Comprehensive inspection of all incoming goods. Assuring no damaged items are sent or received
• Conducting comprehensive raw material quality check and thereafter getting the signoff from the QA team in order to issue the materials
• Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
• Packaging products/raw materials for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness & hygiene of the stores area including the cold room, as per food safety standard requirements, and ensuring that all equipment, crates/pallets are well maintained, in hygienic condition.
• Follow all food safety & hygiene SOPs for the stores – staff uniforms, hygiene, cleanliness of area and items stored in the area on pallets. Continuous training of workers to follow all hygiene and hand washing procedures
• Issuance of raw materials to the production based on the production plan, after the exact approved quantities are informed by the management to issue. Also, take back extra raw materials that have not been used by the production team, weigh and add to the stock in hand.
• Real time filling of data regarding stock receiving, issuing, quality check records, and communicating the exact stock in hand whenever required by the Purchase team, for accurate procurement purposes.
• Daily management of the overall material stores and listing the requirement to maintain minimum stock value, follow up for delivery and processing challans.
• Regular monitoring the material management, availability, minimum stock values.
• Taking material inventory & day to day material consumptions with Stock summary & Reports with correct attributes
• Continuous & timely follow-ups with vendors for their pending materials as per purchase order, similarly follow-ups for their compliance like, vendor registration & COA certificates etc.
• Daily/Monthly material consumption report.
