Job summary

bigbasket in Chennai seeks a Store Manager (Dark Store) to drive end-to-end operations, inventory control and team leadership for 150-200 staff and 50-100 delivery personnel. You will ensure exceptional customer service, SLA adherence, and maintain quality standards.

Candidate should have 5+ years in large-format FMCG/retail/E-commerce, strong inventory management, and be ready to relocate to Chennai with excellent Tamil and English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in store management for large-format Retail/FMCG/E-commerce.
• Experience in dark store operations is preferred.
• Strong inventory control and replenishment skills.
• Ability to lead a large team and manage rosters and staff allocation.
• Fluent Tamil and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Preferable Only Dark Store/Retail Store Experience FMCG RETAIL/ E-COMMERCE/QSR as Store manager with Minimum 5 Yrs required

JOB ROLE

• Responsible for driving end to end store operations i.e., Receiving, Inventory, Outbound & Returns.
• Manage a team of up to 150-200 store staff & 50-100 delivery boys with training & delegation of Work, Planning Roasters etc.
• Mentor and ensure the team provides superior Customer Service/ experience (customer service).
• Ensure SLAs Adherence & responsibility for Store Metrics.
• Adhere to the SOP, check list, and processes defined, follow the mandatory registers and records maintenance.
• Maintaining quality standards as per the Company defined standards.

PREFERRED

• Strong Knowledge of Inventory management (Inward, Outward, Write off, Cycle count etc.) in F&V / FMCG category.
• Should have experience of managing a team size of minimum 100 store employees.
• Should have good communication skills (Tamil and English).
• Only from Large format Retail/ FMCG/ E-Commerce
• Good in Communication & Presentable.
• Minimum Experience required 5 Years .
• Willing and ready to relocate to Chennai.
