Job summary

Amartex Store is seeking a Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations in Himachal Pradesh. You will drive sales, manage inventory, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead the store team to meet targets.

The role requires 3–7 years of relevant retail/store management experience, with a Graduate degree or MBA/PGDM in Retail/Marketing preferred. Location-specific responsibilities include maintaining store standards and ensuring compliance with SOPs.

  • Experience: 3–7 years of relevant retail/store management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Drive store revenue, conversion, average bill value, and customer retention.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities to increase sales.
  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly store performance and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
  • Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory availability.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
  • Minimize stock loss, damage, expiry, and shrinkage.
  • Coordinate stock receiving, transfers, replenishment, and returns.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate store staff.
  • Prepare staff rosters and manage attendance and leave.
  • Set individual targets and conduct performance reviews.
  • Ensure discipline, grooming, and professional behavior of the team.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Monitor billing and POS transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory, safety, and security requirements.
  • Maintain required store records and reports.

Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Job Purpose
