Job summary

India Pesticides is seeking a Store/Material Manager to oversee receipt, storage, preservation and issue of materials to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. You will manage stock, apply FIFO/FEFO and ABC analysis, label correctly, perform safety audits, maintain stock registers and MIS, and coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, QC, EHS and Logistics.

Preferred candidate: Graduate/MBA in Material Management with strong knowledge of mechanical spares, ERP MM, leadership and

• Strong knowledge of mechanical spares and general engineering materials.
• Good leadership, inventory control and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of stores procedures and audit compliance.
• ERP MM Module proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, verification, inspection and proper storage of items.
• Inspection, storage and issue of hazardous chemicals and raw materials.

Job description

Key Objective:

To manage and control all Store including receipt, storage, preservation and issue of materials to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Management:

• - Receipt, verification, inspection and proper storage of general items, mechanical spares, electrical items, consumables, bearings, belts, tools, lubricants etc.


• - Inspection, storage and issue of all hazardous chemicals and raw materials


• - Maintain proper stock levels, FIFO (First-In, First-Out) / FEFO ((First Expired, First Out) system and ABC analysis (Inventory Management).


• - Ensure proper labeling.

Safety:

• - Conduct regular safety audits of the chemical store.

Coordination & Documentation:

• - Maintain Stock Registers, Bin Cards, GRN & Issue Slips.


• - Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, QC, EHS & Logistics Departments.


• - Ensure timely issue of materials to maintenance team to avoid breakdown delays.


• - Prepare daily / monthly stock reports, consumption reports and MIS
