Job summary

Maharishi Ayurveda Products in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh seeks a Store Manager to oversee the Stores function in the Ayurvedic factory. You will manage raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and other needs to ensure uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities include strict stock control under GMP/SOP, FIFO/FEFO, accurate ERP/SAP inventory, and leading the Stores team. You will prepare MIS/stock reports and coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA/QC, Finance and Maintenance to optimise costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete Stores function for raw materials, packing materials and consumables.
• Ensure timely receipt, verification, storage and issue of materials to Production.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO, proper storage conditions and control of expiry materials.
• Maintain accurate ERP/SAP inventory and conduct periodic stock checks.
• Prepare MIS/stock reports and lead the Stores team for process improvements.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production Planning, QA/QC, Finance and Maintenance to ensure availability of materials.
• Monitor stock levels and take action on shortages, excess, or slow-moving items.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety, hygiene and audit requirements.

JD Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Stores function of the Ayurvedic pharmaceutical factory, covering raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and other factory requirements.
• Ensure timely receipt, verification, identification, storage, and issue of materials to Production as per approved requirements.
• Manage Ayurvedic raw materials such as herbs, roots, leaves, powders, oils, extracts, and other ingredients with proper batch-wise traceability.
• Maintain proper segregation of Quarantine, Approved, Rejected, Returned, and Expired materials as per SOP and GMP requirements.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO, proper storage conditions, stock rotation, and control of expiry/near-expiry materials.
• Maintain accurate physical and ERP/SAP inventory, conduct periodic stock verification, and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production Planning, Production, QA, QC, Finance, and Maintenance to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock, shortages, excess, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety, hygiene, housekeeping, pest control, documentation, and audit requirements within Stores.
• Lead and supervise the Stores team, prepare MIS/stock reports, improve Stores processes, and ensure efficient inventory control and cost optimization.
