Job Summary
Shadowfax is looking for a proactive and responsible Dark Store Incharge to manage the day-to-day operations of a dark store. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth store operations, coordinate rider hiring and onboarding, maintain operational efficiency, and achieve service level targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the assigned dark store.
- Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and smooth last-mile operations.
- Coordinate rider hiring, onboarding, attendance, and roster management.
- Monitor rider productivity and ensure adequate staffing to meet operational demand.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock handling.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and operational standards.
- Resolve operational issues and elevate critical concerns when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless store operations.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and performance metrics.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 2-7 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, e-commerce, or dark store operations.
- Experience in rider hiring and workforce management is preferred.
- Good geographical knowledge of the assigned city/area to support rider planning and route allocation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting.
