Job summary

Fairdeal.Market is expanding its B2B dark store operations in Delhi, seeking a Store Manager to drive end-to-end warehouse and last‑mile workflows. You will lead a multi‑disciplinary team, optimize inwarding, picking, packing, and dispatch, and ensure cost efficiency with data‑driven decisions.

Ideal candidates bring 4–7 years in operations, strong inventory control and last‑mile expertise, and proficiency in Excel, WMS, and OMS. This role requires rotating shifts and a focus on KPI attainment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, or Commerce.
  • 4–7 years of experience in operations, preferably warehouse or e-commerce B2B.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and last-mile logistics.
  • Proficient in Excel, WMS, OMS and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent team management and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inwarding, inventory control, picking/packing and dispatch.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and shrinkage controls.
  • Lead a team of shift staff and drive KPI delivery.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors.
  • Monitor SLA adherence and route plans.

Job description

Fairdeal.Market is a rapidly growing B2B quick commerce company offering a wide range of products with delivery times as short as 60 minutes. Our mission is to ensure that every shopping bag worldwide can be filled efficiently and sustainably.

Role Overview

The Store Manager will support the end-to-end management of a B2B grocery dark store, ensuring smooth execution across inwarding, inventory control, picking/packing, fulfilment, and last-mile dispatch. The role demands strong operational discipline, a data‑driven mindset, and the ability to lead teams to consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs related to efficiency, accuracy, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Ensure timely inwarding and putaway of stock as per plan.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock health, expiry, damages, and shrinkage; implement preventive controls.
  • Coordinate with procurement and vendors for returns, replacements, and rejections.
  • Maintain optimal storage layout, safety, and hygiene standards within the warehouse.
  • Oversee order-wise picking, QC, packing, and dispatch operations.
  • Drive picking accuracy and order fill rate to meet SLAs.
  • Ensure daily replenishment and bin accuracy to minimize misses and delays.
  • Analyze and improve picking productivity and turnaround time (TAT).
3. Last‑Mile Operations
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders as per route plans.
  • Manage delivery partners / drivers, ensuring performance and compliance.
  • Monitor cash collections, returns, and complaint closures.
  • Reduce delivery complaints, undelivered orders, and reverse logistics losses.
4. People & Process Management
  • Lead a team of shift in-charges, pickers, packers, loaders, and delivery staff.
  • Conduct daily shift planning, huddles, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and labour discipline.
  • Drive training, motivation, and productivity improvement initiatives.
5. KPI Ownership & Reporting

Own and report performance across:

  • Inward SLA adherence
  • Inventory accuracy / Shrinkage / Damages
  • Fulfilment & Delivery TAT
  • Customer complaints & closure rate
  • Team attendance & productivity discipline
Qualifications & Skills
  • Graduate (preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, or Commerce).
  • 4–7 years of experience in operations, preferably in warehouse, dark store, or FMCG/e-commerce B2B setups.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, fulfilment processes, and last‑mile logistics.
  • Proficient in Excel, WMS, OMS and comfortable using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent team management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and manage end‑to‑end daily operations.
