Job summary

MDP Infra (India) Private Limited in Delhi Office is seeking a Store Incharge for Civil Projects with 10-13 years of construction experience to oversee material operations across multiple sites.

You will coordinate with site teams, manage MRN/GRN records, monitor stock, and drive timely procurement and inventory control to support project schedules. This is a full-time on-site role at the Delhi Office.

• Centrally monitor and control store and material operations across 3–4 civil project sites from the Delhi Head Office.
• Coordinate with Site Store Incharges/Storekeepers regarding material receipts, issues, transfers, consumption and closing stock.
• Maintain and review centralized inventory records and MIS for all project sites.
• Monitor availability of major construction materials and ensure timely material planning and replenishment.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Projects, Accounts and Site Teams for material requirements and procurement.

Project Coverage: 34 Civil Construction Sites
Experience: 10–13 Years in Construction/Infrastructure Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Centrally monitor and control store and material operations across 3–4 civil project sites from the Delhi Head Office.
• Coordinate with Site Store Incharges/Storekeepers regarding material receipts, issues, transfers, consumption and closing stock.
• Maintain and review centralized inventory records and MIS for all project sites.
• Monitor availability of major construction materials and ensure timely material planning and replenishment.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Projects, Accounts and Site Teams for material requirements and procurement.
• Review site-wise Material Requisition Notes (MRN/MRN), Material Receipt Notes (GRN), Issue Slips and Stock Registers.
• Track material consumption against BOQ/project requirements and identify excess consumption, shortages or abnormal variations.
• Monitor inter-site material transfers and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct/coordinate periodic physical stock verification at project sites and reconcile physical stock with system/register balances.
• Prepare weekly and monthly site-wise stock and consumption reports for management.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, damaged and obsolete materials and recommend appropriate action.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, stacking, preservation and handling of construction materials at sites.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers and Store Teams to ensure materials are available as per project schedule.
• Verify material records related to cement, steel, electrical items, plumbing, finishing materials, hardware, consumables and other construction materials.
• Monitor material wastage and support project teams in cost control and inventory optimization.
• Ensure proper documentation and accountability for materials issued to subcontractors/vendors.
• Conduct regular communication with site teams through calls, emails, MIS and online reporting and undertake site visits whenever required.
• Identify discrepancies in stock, documentation or material consumption and report them to management.
