Job summary

Sunteck Realty is seeking a Stores Operations professional to supervise site store activities across live projects, manage cycle counts, and optimize material handling and stock accuracy. The role requires coordinating with Purchase, Billing, QS, Execution and Accounts, while ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliant documentation.

You will build a robust store team, ensure wastage control, and manage asset registers and inter-project transfers to support timely project execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day stores operations at every live project through the site store in-charges, including storage planning, material preservation and stacking discipline.
• Run cycle counts and physical verification, reconcile variances, and drive down slow-moving, non-moving and ageing stock.
• Reconcile client-supplied materials (steel, cement, structural steel, RMC) and contractor bulk materials monthly, controlling wastage against agreed norms.
• Publish surplus reports and redeploy material between projects before fresh procurement is raised, execute inter-project and intercompany transfers correctly, and manage scrap disposal as per policy.
• Maintain the site asset register with Project and EPC heads, including shuttering, formwork and plant movement.
• Face internal and statutory audits for the function, close observations on time, and maintain documentation to ISO 9001:2015.

• Recruit, train and develop site store teams, and build a bench so no site depends on one person.
