Job summary

KASTECH Semiconductor Equipment Pvt Ltd in Karnataka invites applications for the Store Incharge role to lead SCM operations, inventory control, and ensure 100% stock accuracy at factory location.

Reporting to the Plant/Manufacturing Head, you will supervise 6 direct reports, drive MOOWR compliance and BOM-based production kits, and ensure on-time customer dispatches while maintaining strict safety standards and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• BE (Mechanical) is preferred, plus a Diploma in SCM/Logistics.
• 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing stores (preferably engineering/industrial equipment).
• Hands-on ERP/SAP experience, MOOWR regulations, BOM kitting, and handling precision components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, verification, and storage of local and imported components; drive stock counting and FIFO; reduce non-moving inventory to maintain high stock accuracy.
• Ensure MOOWR compliance, audit readiness, and traceability of materials (part, lot, heat, serial).
• Issue materials and assemble BOM-based production kits to prevent line stoppages; manage FG picking, storage, and customer dispatches with on-time delivery.
• Maintain 100% ERP transaction accuracy; lead the store team; enforce 5S and safety standards with high audit compliance.

Store Incharge Job Description

• Position Overview: Store In-charge at KAS Tech Semiconductor Equipment Pvt Ltd (Factory Location).
• Hierarchy: SCM Department; Reports directly to the Plant / Manufacturing Head; Manages 6 direct reportees.
• Qualification & Experience: BE (Mechanical preferred) + Diploma in SCM/Logistics with 8 to 12 years in manufacturing stores (preferably engineering/industrial equipment).

Core Responsibilities & Targets

• Material Management & Inventory Control: Oversee receipt, verification, and storage of local and imported components. Drive stock counting, reconciliation, FIFO, and non-moving inventory reduction to maintain 9899% stock accuracy.
• MOOWR & Material Traceability: Ensure 100% compliance, audit readiness, and record-keeping for materials under MOOWR. Maintain strict part, lot, heat, and serial traceability.
• Production Kitting & Dispatch: Issue materials and assemble BOM-based production kits ($99.5% accuracy) to ensure zero line stoppages. Manage FG picking, storage, and customer dispatches ($100% on-time delivery).
• ERP, Safety & Leadership: Maintain 100% ERP transaction accuracy. Lead the store team, enforce 5S housekeeping, and maintain safety standards (95% audit compliance).

Competencies & Authority

• Technical Knowledge: Hands-on ERP/SAP, MOOWR regulations, BOM kitting, and handling precision/engineering components (SS tubes, valves, fittings).
• Key Authority & Escalations: Owns daily store operations, material movement, and staff management. Escalates stock variances, material shortages, quality holds, and dispatch risks to management.
