Job summary

Texmaco Nymwag Rail & Components is seeking a Store Executive to manage daily store operations in a manufacturing environment. You will handle inward/outward material, maintain inventory, and ensure accurate GRN and stock records.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and production, ensuring proper storage and labeling, and maintaining MIS reports. 6–10 years of stores experience and railways exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in stores/warehousing.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Good typing speed and accuracy.
• Railways/freight cars/rolling stock experience is mandatory.

Job description

Purpose of the Role:

The Store Executive is responsible for managing daily store operations, ensuring minimum stock value is maintained. The candidate should be experienced in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling inward & outward material.
• Inventory control and stock management.
• Maintaining GRN, issue slips & store records.
• Coordination with purchase & production teams.
• Ensuring proper storage and housekeeping.
• Manage day-to-day store operations.
• Coordinate with various departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Stock verification, MIS reporting & coordination with Procurement & QA/QC.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking activities.
• Receive and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Store materials in designated areas as per categorization and stock rotation norms.
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stock items.
• Updated record keeping.
• Basic computer skills.

Competencies:

Technical

• Proficiency in Advance Excel, SAP, Power Point etc with other computer activities.
• Strong understanding of materials Inward.
• GRN (Goods Receipt Note) creation.
• Issue entry and material issuance.
• Stock maintenance and inventory control.
• Documentation and record keeping.
• Knowledge of store and inventory management processes

Desired Qualification:

• Graduate (Preferably Commerce Graduate)
