Job summary

Sigma Electric is seeking a Store Head to supervise overall store functions at manufacturing sites and offices in Chakan, Pune. You will drive accuracy in receipt, storage and issue, while ensuring FIFO and shelf-life controls for production support.

The role requires 10–12 years in Stores within Automobile/Engineering/Manufacturing, with strong leadership and 5S/EOHS compliance focus. Site management and continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• M.Com / B.Com / BSc with a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management is desirable.
• 10–12 years of experience in Stores within Automobile, Engineering or Manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee A2/A3 store functions end-to-end and ensure 100% accuracy in material receipt.
• Ensure proper storage, preservation and timely material issue to production.
• Monitor FIFO, shelf life, and shortages; maintain perpetual stock accuracy.
• Control scrap movement and ensure timely disposal of scrap materials.
• Manage subcontracting activities and monthly reporting.
• Maintain 5S, safety and EOHS/QMS compliance; support statutory audits.

Job description

1.Job Objective

Overall Management of Store from Receipt , Storage & Issue of all materials RM. Pkg. material Component Maintenance spares. Proper Storage and Preservation. Vehicle management. Subcontracting of material & Reconciliation.

Monitor & Ensure FIFO For Shelf life items. Store MIS & attend Weekly Review meetings. Inventory management - Perpetual inventory on Monthly basis. Maintain 100% Stock accuracy. Handling DOL KANBAN material, Overall responsible for Store function. Store Head, Maintain Stock Accuracy, QMS/EOHS compliance, 5S, Statutory Audit compliance
EFFICIENTLY HANDLING OF A2 & A3 STORES.

2.Key Role & Responsibilities

• OVERALL RESPONSIBLE FOR A2/A3 STORE FUNCTION.
• 100% ACCURACY IN MATERIAL RECEIPT & TIMELY GRNS,
• ENSURE PROPER STORAGE & PRESERVATION & TIMELY MTL. ISSUE TO PRODUCTION,SHORTAGE MONITORING.100% STOCK ACCURACY.ENSURE FIFO./ SHELF LIFE OF ITEM
• ESTABLISH CONTROL OVER SCRAP MOVEMENT & TIMELY DISPOSAL OF SCRAP MTL.
• HANDLING SUBCONTRCTING ACTIVITIES AND MONTHLY RECO.
• MAINTAIN 5S, SAFETY,IN STORE
• STATUTORY AUDIT COMPLIANCE)

3.Qualification & Experience Required

M.com. B.COM. Bsc. Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management desirable.

10~12 years Experience in the Stores of Automobile/Engineering/ Manufacturing Industry
