Job summary

ISS SDB Security Services is seeking a store/warehouse assistant to manage daily inward and outward material movements. You will verify deliveries against DCs, invoices, and purchase orders, and maintain systematic records in both digital and physical formats.

Responsibilities include stock monitoring, documentation filing, and coordinating with procurement for verification. The role requires attention to safety, organization of the store, and timely reporting of discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in inward/outward materials handling and daily store activities.
• Experience with maintaining digital/manual stock records and documentation.
• Familiar with DC, invoices and purchase orders and related filing.
• Knowledge of Oracle/ERP systems is a plus for documentation and verification.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities with team and procurement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle material inward and outward management on a daily basis.
  
• Verify and receive incoming materials as per Delivery Challan (DC), Invoice, and Purchase Order.
  
• Maintain proper records of all inward and outward materials in material & issue registers.
  
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of DC, invoices, and store-related documents.
  
• Monitor stock levels and update inventory records regularly.
  
• Coordinate with corporate purchase departments for material verification and documentation.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store room.
  
• Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically for easy identification and access.
  
• Handle employees during material issuing and obtain proper acknowledgement/signature.
  
• Conduct periodic stock verification and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  
• Follow company store procedures, safety standards, and compliance policies.
  

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and computer systems.
  
• Ability to maintain digital and manual stock records.
  
• Basic knowledge of store documentation and reporting.
  
• Knowledge of Oracle or any ERP system will be an added advantage.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
