Job summary

Pebble Street Hospitality is seeking a motivated F&B Associate in Mumbai to join the Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for knowledge of menu items, proper operation of service equipment, and maintaining a clean, efficient work station during shifts.

Responsibilities include prompt order fulfillment, upselling, and ensuring smooth operation of the dining area. Prior experience of 6 months to 1 year is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in F&B or customer service.
• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients and preparations.
• Understanding of operation of food service equipment.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area during service.
• Upsell by suggesting additional items with orders.

• Job Description:
• Have a complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparations.
• Have a complete understanding of the operation of all food service equipment.
• Set up the work station at the beginning of the shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area during service – clean as you work.
• Fill orders promptly to keep the line moving.
• Suggest additional items for purchase with the order to upsell.
• Maintain a pleasant rapport with all customers and co-workers.
• Save all personal and casual conversations until after shift.
• Have a general knowledge of Coral World including exhibits and feeding times, etc.
• At shift closing, completely break down and thoroughly clean the station.
• Fill out the requisition form and restock the station.
• Pick up items from the kitchen to the restock station.
• Assist others to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure a smooth operation of the Food & Beverage Department.
