Qualifications

• Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and comprehensive nursing care to patients according to their clinical needs and prescribed treatment plans.
• Includes patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, documentation, infection prevention, patient education, and coordination with doctors and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to patient clinical requirements.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Observe patient condition and report significant changes promptly.
• Assist doctors during examinations and clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient care records.
• Prepare patients for investigations and procedures.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge activities.
• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
• Maintain medication and treatment schedules accurately.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices.
• Collect and handle clinical specimens according to protocol.
• Ensure availability and proper use of nursing supplies and equipment.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and elevate when required.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment and care instructions.
• Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, diagnostics, and other departments.
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate important patient updates.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
