Nursing Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering educational and competency-based training programs for nursing staff. The includes identifying training needs, conducting clinical and theoretical sessions, evaluating staff competencies, supporting orientation and induction, promoting evidence-based nursing practices, and coordinating with nursing leadership to improve patient care quality, safety, and professional development.
- Assess training and competency needs of nursing staff.
- Develop and implement nursing education and training programs.
- Conduct orientation and induction programs for newly joined nurses.
- Organize theoretical and clinical training sessions.
- Provide education on nursing procedures, protocols, and hospital SOPs.
- Conduct competency assessments and maintain training records.
- Support continuing nursing education and professional development activities.
- Train staff on patient safety, medication safety, and clinical practices.
- Conduct sessions on infection prevention and control practices.
- Assist with emergency response, resuscitation, and critical care training.
- Coordinate with nursing supervisors and department heads to identify skill gaps.

- Update educational materials, manuals, checklists, and competency tools.
