Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services across wards, critical care, OT, emergency, and other assigned areas.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
• Plan nursing manpower requirements and staffing deployment.
• Monitor duty rosters, shift allocation, and staffing adequacy.
• Supervise nursing managers, supervisors, and senior nursing personnel.
• Ensure safe, compassionate, and patient-centred nursing care.
• Monitor compliance with nursing SOPs and clinical protocols.
• Coordinate with doctors and clinical departments regarding patient care requirements.
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Review nursing quality indicators, incidents, complaints, and patient-care outcomes.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for nursing-related gaps.
• Support accreditation, audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Plan and monitor nursing orientation, training, and competency development.
• Review nursing documentation, handover standards, and clinical records.
