Biomedical Engineering is responsible for managing the maintenance, safety, availability, and technical performance of medical and clinical equipment across the healthcare facility. The includes preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment inspection, installation, calibration coordination, troubleshooting, vendor management, service documentation, inventory control, and support to clinical departments to ensure safe and reliable operation of biomedical equipment.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance of medical and clinical equipment.
• Attend equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs.
• Inspect biomedical equipment for safe and proper functioning.
• Perform troubleshooting and basic technical assessments.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and functional testing of new equipment.
• Support calibration and performance verification activities.
• Maintain equipment service histories, maintenance logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with authorized vendors and service providers.
• Track breakdown complaints and monitor timely closure.
