Hummingbird Talent ( An eChai Company ) is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional for a Bareilly-area plant. The role requires 8-15 years of related experience, ITI certification, and hands-on work with 33 kV transmission lines, HT/LT panels, transformers, and high-voltage distribution equipment.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance, logging daily O&M records, performing on-site testing with standard instruments, and assisting during outages.

Qualifikationen

• 8-15 years of job-related experience in electrical field.
• Formal ITI certificate in electrical field from Government college or trade school.
• Knowledge of machines listed in channel---supply, distribution, metering, high voltage, and switchgear.
• Experience with OEM transformer, HT & LT switchgear companies is preferred.
• Experience with High voltage transmission/distribution lines is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain electrical machinery in the plant with minimum 1000 hrs per machine.
• Prepare internal work orders from plant operation for electrical maintenance.
• Log safety measures before starting work.
• Maintain 33 kV transmission line and HT/LT panels and associated equipment.
• Test electrical equipment using standard tools and document results.
• Maintain daily operation and maintenance logs per O&M manual.
• Respond to power outages as needed and ensure safe, clean facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day maintenance of maintenance of the following electrical machineries in the plant [minimum 1000 hrs maintenance experience for each machine] – marked in brown is mandatory requirement
• (a) 33 kV transmission line and HT Panel
• (b) 33 kV breaker/isolator
• (c) Potential Transformer, Current Transformer
• (d) 1-2 MVA transformer
• (e) 415V LT panel
• (f) 415V LT motor
• (g) Diesel Generator [upto 625 KVA]
• Responsible for arranging internal work order from plant operation team for electrical maintenance work
• Log all safety measure in the prescribed format before starting a maintenance work in electrical machineries or system
• perform maintenance of overhead and underground transmission line of 33 kV
• perform testing of electrical equipment and operate all testing tools generally used in first order testing of electrical equipment [digital multimeter, voltmeter, ammeter, clamp meter, continuity tester, megger, earth ground tester, power quality analyzer, LCR meter, phase sequence meter etc.]
• maintain operation and maintenance logs for every single electrical equipment on daily basis as per O&M manual
• responsible for responding during power outages as assigned
• responsible for cleaning plant electrical facilities and keeping all facilities orderly and safe
• responsible for cleaning all instruments and check the connection, voltage and working condition
• ability to work overtime to attend to unexpected problems of the plant
• ability to work in the on-call rotation as required

Skills Required:

• 8-15 years of job-related experience working in the electrical field.
• Formal ITI certificate from Government accredited college and/or trade school in the electric field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform
• Strongly preferred candidates will possess knowledge of all machines as outlined in the entire channel---supply, distribution, metering processes, high voltage, step down voltage, switchgear and motor
• Previously worked with any OEM [Original Equipment Manufacturer] like Transformer, HT & LT panel switchgear companies for at least 4-5 years will be preferred
• Previously worked with any High voltage [132 kV] Transmission line / Distribution line company for atleast 2-3 years
• Working knowledge of soldering techniques
• Functional knowledge of welding techniques
• Fundamental knowledge of general industrial safety practices
