Job summary

Hammond Power Solutions India, based in Hyderabad, seeks a Technician - Maintenance to maintain plant, electrical and mechanical systems for safe, efficient production. Responsibilities include daily maintenance, repairs, energy monitoring, and minimizing downtime while mentoring the production team.

Qualified candidates should have Dip/ITI in mechanical or electrical trades with relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably transformers, and familiarity with TPM principles and MS

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities and Impact:

• 1. Ensure plant and machinery and facilities management are maintained to expected operational efficiency, quality environment and safety.
• 2. Will be responsible for performing daily maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
• 3. Responsible for ensuring our facilities are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
• 4. Maintenance of production and electrical equipment.
• 5. Maintain the facilities maintenance schedule.
• 6. Perform maintenance related repairs.
• 7. Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation of the facility.
• 8. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.
• 9. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
• 10. Review daily work orders and provide reports.
• 11. Review all documentation to ensure proper data collection.
• 12. Control ex repair and maintenance of equipment and building.
• 13. Ensure no production loss due to machinery breakdown.
• 14. Plan for minimum spares requirement.
• 15. Daily monitoring of power consumption and report to production if any abnormalities and ensure proper energy management.
• 16. Identify scope for improvement in terms of machinery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 17. Minimum Qualification: Dip Mech / Electrical / Electronic with min 2 to 3 years exp in maintenance or ITI electrical / electronic with 7 to 10 years’ Experience in maintenance.
• 18. Experience in manufacturing industry, preferably from transformers industry.
• 19. Awareness of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• 20. Understand process flow and should be able to identify bottle necks.
• 21. Skill in managing team and mentoring all support departments including Production department.
• 22. Should have good knowledge of MS office.
