Job summary

Calderys is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Odisha site. The role involves following EHS guidelines, preventive machine maintenance, and ensuring equipment availability for production.

You will follow SOPs/HIRA during maintenance, manage permits, and document all activities. Responsibilities also include store management, maintaining history cards for electrical assets, and producing electrical consumption reports and DPRs.

Qualifications

• ITI in Electrical is required.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience.
• Preference for refractory industry experience (crushers/presses/kilns/ovens).
• Wireman-B license holder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and establish EHS guidelines and protocols in the workplace.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of all machines per schedule.
• Ensure equipment availability for production.
• Follow SOPs and HIRA during maintenance at site.
• Maintain proper housekeeping after job completion.
• Ensure proper work permit system for all jobs.
• Specify spares accurately when raising material requirements.
• Document activities after job completion.
• Communicate abnormalities to reporting manager.
• Manage general store operations.
• Maintain history cards for electrical equipment.
• Maintain electrical consumption reports and daily production report (DPR).

• SLD, Power and Control circuit diagram review

• DOL, Star-Delta, Soft Starter and VFD installation and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Qualification: ITI in Electrical
• Work Experience: 4 to 6 years.
• Preferred: Work experience in refractory industries specifically with crushers/presses, kilns, ovens etc
